General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of qrcontrol.app (“QR Control” or the “Service”), provided by Allagis BV (“we”, “us”).

By accepting these Terms, you agree to them.

1. The Service

QR Control provides tools for creating and managing dynamic QR codes.

The basic services of QR Control — creating QR codes, managing their destinations, and resolving those QR codes to their current destinations — will remain free of charge for small-scale personal, non-commercial use.

QR Control uses the AT Protocol (Authenticated Transfer Protocol), also referred to as atproto. QR records created through the Service are stored in the repository associated with your AT Protocol identity.

Information stored in your atproto repository is publicly accessible. You must therefore not store secret, private or security-sensitive URLs or other confidential information in your QR records.

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the QR codes you create and the destinations to which they redirect.

You must not use QR Control for illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful activities, including phishing, impersonation, malware, infringement of third-party rights, or attempts to disrupt or compromise the Service or its infrastructure.

3. Use at your own risk

QR Control is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. You use the Service at your own risk.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

QR Control depends partly on third-party services and infrastructure, including AT Protocol infrastructure, PDS providers, internet services and destination websites, which are outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Allagis BV excludes liability for any loss or damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, QR Control. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of opportunity, indirect or consequential loss, and loss or damage resulting from third-party services, infrastructure or destination websites.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

4. Suspension and termination

You may stop using QR Control at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to QR Control if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, use it for illegal or harmful activities, or create a security risk for QR Control, its users or third parties.

Suspension or termination of your access to QR Control does not suspend or terminate your AT Protocol identity and does not automatically remove QR records stored in your atproto repository.

5. Changes

We may modify or discontinue the Service.

We may also update these Terms. When acceptance of an updated version is required, you must accept it when you next sign in before continuing to use QR Control.

6. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law.

Mandatory legal rights applicable to you remain unaffected.
